Choose the colour (PVD)

ETERNUM gives you the opportunity to colour your cutlery.

PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is a physical vapour deposition technique that guarantees undeniable resistance to surface wear, even in professional use.

The advantages of PVD :

  • High resistance to wear and abrasion
  • Resistance to most household cleaning products
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Environmentally friendly
  • Better resistance to corrosion

Choose your finish

As standard, all our models are available in polished-gloss/polished-mirrored steel. Eternum offers the possibility, via a treatment, of making the cover matt in 3 ways. This treatment can be combined with a PVD treatment (see above).

- Vintage/Stonewash
The vintage finish on our cutlery is obtained by a vibratory mechanical finishing process (tribo-finishing process) which gives the "vintage" effect. This process is based on continuous rubbing of the cutlery with abrasive stones, which gives the objects a worn cutlery appearance.

- Sandblasting
This matt finish is achieved by projecting micro glass beads at high pressure (6 bar) to give the cutlery its sandblasted effect.

- Brushing:
The brushed effect is achieved by rotating brushes which, when in contact with the steel, give the matt effect.
